The Academy
A fire ground you cannot simulate in a classroom.
JEMA is a fixed facility at Jubail Industrial City — not a room hired for the week. The props are permanent, the equipment lives on site, and a crew trains on the ground itself.
Industrial fire ground
An open concrete ground laid out for industrial firefighting, with fixed monitors and space to work a full crew.
Live-fire props
A multi-storey process rig, tank and vessel props, and container props — lit for real, not simulated.
Smoke house
For search, orientation and breathing apparatus work under zero visibility.
Breathing apparatus facilities
Sets, cylinders and a breathing-air compressor on site, so training is not limited by turnaround.
Training halls and classrooms
A tiered lecture theatre, classrooms and syndicate rooms for the theory that has to happen before anyone goes near a fire.
Courses
Training falls into three groups — Fire, Refresher and HSE. Scope, prerequisites and certification detail live in the catalogue itself, so what you read there is always current.
Course dates
Fire training commences January. Dates are not published yet — register your interest and the academy will come back to you as soon as they are set.
The academy’s working week is Sunday to Thursday.
Training a whole response team
Most of what happens here is arranged for a client, not booked seat by seat: a full crew, a programme built around the hazards on your site, run to a schedule that fits your shift pattern. Talk to the academy about what your team needs.
